How much are tickets?

  • Anyone participating in the Forest of Lore adventure/scavenger hunt or in the Hoophouse of Horror will need a ticket.

  • Lore of the Forest adventure = $10

  • Hoophouse of Horror = $5

  • Adults or siblings waiting for those participating are free to enjoy the Halloween trivia and games, music, bonfires and cash concessions.

Do I need to reserve a specific time?

  • No. For 2023, groups will leave for the Forest every 15 minutes, starting at 6:30pm. The last group will leave at 8:15pm.

  • The Hoophouse of Horror will be open for whenever you muster up the courage!

what ages do you recommend for the forest of lore?

  • The Forest of Lore walk and scavenger hunt is a family-friendly adventure. Parents are more than welcome to go with kids, but kids under 8 years old must have a adult with them.

how scary is the hoophouse of horror?

  • Think of it as a mini haunted house. It may be intense for some, but it is short!

  • We recommend adults and kids ages 12 and up.

  • All kids have a different level of comfort, but we are requiring that kids 10 and under have a parent go with them.

Can I purchase a ticket at the gate?

  • Yes. We will only accept cash at the farm, and a liability waiver must be signed for anyone entering.

Why do I need to sign a waiver?

  • Pine Grove Pastures is an operational farm, and there are inherent risks in attending an agri-tourism event at night, with bonfires. Therefore we are requiring liability waivers for everyone, not just those participating in the Lore of the Forest adventure or Hoophouse of Horror.

Do you accept credit cards?

  • We are only able to accept cash on the farm, but if you would prefer to pay in advance with a credit card, please call or email us.

What happens if it rains?

  • We will be open, rain or (moon) shine.

Where is the farm located?

  • Five minutes west of Tomahawk, at N9439 Pine Grove Lane. You’ll know you’re here when you see our driveway!

What do I do when I arrive?

  • When you arrive, you will come to the table to get your wristband and sign your liability waivers. Then you can come back and enjoy the music, bonfires, games, trivia and concessions until you’d like to take the adventure into the forest with the next group, or through our Hoophouse of Horror.

Is there parking?

  • Yes, there is a limited amount of parking along our driveway.

How long is the event?

  • We are open from 6:30-8:30pm. The adventure through the Forest of Lore may take approximately 30 minutes, depending on how fast you choose to go through. The Hoophouse of Horror will be much shorter, but more intense. We will also have games, music, trivia, bonfires and concessions to enjoy.

Is there a bathroom?

  • No. We will have a hand-washing station at the concession stand, but we will not have a bathroom. In case of an emergency, you may use the bathroom in our house.
